Donate IT — give it a second life
Donate laptops, desktops and IT equipment free of charge. We collect nationwide, wipe every drive to NIST 800-88 and refurbish working kit for UK schools, charities and community groups.
Why donate IT through Byebyte
Most disposal firms shred first, refurbish second. We do it the other way round — because a working laptop belongs on a desk, not in a materials stream.
Real second life, not landfill
Working kit is PAT-tested and refurbished for UK schools, community projects and charities — not shredded before it's had a second life.
Data destroyed before donation
Every drive is wiped to NIST 800-88 or physically shredded before any device is rehomed. Signed Certificate of Destruction included.
Free to donate, free to collect
No fee, no minimums, no catch. Our costs are covered by responsible materials recovery and refurbished-kit resale — never by the donor.
Impact you can report
Get an itemised manifest and a summary of what was refurbished vs recycled — ready for ESG reports, CSR updates and trustee packs.
What you can donate
Any age, any condition — working kit gets refurbished, end-of-life kit gets recycled.
